Download Autolev
- Windows 95/98/Millenium/NT/2000/XP (self-extracting)
- Create a directory (folder) on your hard drive, e.g., C:\Autolev
- Download this file to that directory;
double-click on the downloaded file; and then click OK
- Accept the default folder for the Java .dll files by clicking NEXT.
(These files may already be installed. You may skip or overwrite them.)
Wait until the .dll files are extracted and installed
- If you are a licensed user, copy your alicense.txt file to the toolbox directory
- Double-click on al.exe to invoke Autolev
- Double-click on alplot.exe to invoke Autolev's plotting software

- If you are trying a demo version, contact
OnLine Dynamics for a licensed version
- Download and try the demo version of
Animake
- Macintosh OSX (Disk Image)
- Download the file AutolevMacDiskImage.dmg to your desktop
to create an AutolevMacDiskImage.
- If it does not open automatically, double-click on the AutolevMacDiskImage
- Drag the Autolev folder onto your Macintosh Hard Drive.
(It should be on the root (top-level) of your Macintosh Hard-Drive.)
- If you are a licensed user, copy your alicense.txt file to that Autolev folder.
- To start Autolev, browse to the Autolev folder and double click on
AutolevTerminal.term
- To exit Autolev, type
exit at the Autolev prompt.
To exit the AutolevTerminal, type
exit at the OSX Unix prompt.

- In that directory, create two sub-directories, toolbox and examples
- Click on toolbox
and download the associated files to your toolbox directory
- Click on examples
and download the associated files to your examples directory
- Click on the link to your type of machine and download the
associated executable files to your Autolev directory
- If you are a licensed user, copy your alicense.txt file to the toolbox directory
- Type al or ./al to invoke Autolev
- Type alplot or ./alplot to invoke Autolev's plotting software
